Brand : Lauralep Characteristics: For more than 40 centuries, this soap has been manufactured in the city of Aleppo in Mesopotamia, nowadays the second largest city in Syria. Throughout the centuries, laurel has been recognised as an exceptional product. It symbolises victory. The recipe of Aleppo soap was brought back to Europe in the 11th century by crusaders, and gave birth to Marseille soap. The manufacturing of Aleppo soap hasn't changed throughout the centuries. Nowadays, it remains a completely natural product, exclusively made from olive oil, laurel bay oil, natural soda and water. The 1 to 40% laurel oil content gives it value and efficiency. It contains no synthetic product, no colouring agent, no fragrance, and no animal fat derivative. It is entirely biodegradable.
