The range was originally developed by doctors at holistic clinics who wanted healing baths to supplement other complementary therapies and anthroposophic medicines. Weleda bath milks harness the therapeutic properties of pure essential oils and disperse them throughout the warm water to gently envelop the body, rather than sitting as droplets on the water surface. The aroma stimulates the senses, while the therapeutic plant ingredients provide physical benefits. A toning bath soak, to stimulate the circulation, completes the range. Lavender flowers have been used over the centuries for their sweet-smelling, restful qualities. Similarly Weleda Lavender Bath Milk has a soothing, relaxing effect when added to the bath. Lavender has a harmonising influence and strengthens the nerves. Weleda Lavender Bath Milk is, therefore, useful in cases of mental exhaustion and over stimulation. It is best used at night when its fragrant, harmonising properties will promote a peaceful nights sleep. Directions for use: Shake the bottle before use. Pour 2 - 3 capfuls into the running water to disperse. A water temperature of 37oC / 98oF is recommended. Do not bathe longer than 20 minutes. After bathing, dry the body gently, cover with a soft towel and ideally relax for at least half an hour in warm surroundings. Use 1 capful to a foot-bath or basin, agitate water with the hand to mix the milk. In the shower or as a quick freshener, use a few drops on a moist cloth. To refresh a room, add a few drops to a small bowl of warm water. Suitable for vegans.
